About Me......
Fabric has been a love of mine since I was little. I started collecting it when I was in my teens
and have not stopped since, I love it! The smell, how it feels, and of course it's many uses.
There is nothing more thrilling than to see that new collection out of my FAVORITE colors! Quilts
are the most comforting thing you can make out of fabric. I love the look of hand appliqué, and
it's portability. With five kids running around here it is necessary to move from place to place!
Above all, I love appliqué for the freedom it gives it's maker. The sky is the limit when it comes
to design. The question that people ask me the most is..."How do you do this with five kids at
home?" The answer is....something always has to give. My house is a disaster for a week while
I am finishing up a project, my kids beg for dad to make them something "good" to eat, and my
teenager says "Mommm, I thought you were going to get out of your pj's today. My friends are
coming over!" Despite the hunger pains, lack of sleep, and disaster clean-up...... I love this little
outlet for creativity. Thanks to all of you that have contributed to my success.

Chitter Chatter Designs was born in 2007 when I
decided to follow the advice of my mother. She
insisted that I put her mother's day gift into a pattern
so.....
My first quilt pattern was "ANT"titude released in the
summer of 2007 at Thimbles and Threads for the
Wasatch Front Shop Hop. I was thrilled and a little
overwhelmed with it's success. . From there I
caught the quilting bug and just went crazy with
ideas that I am still working on now.
